Raised as a Catholic all family members & friends being catholic, with weddings, communions, baptisms, conformations, not to mention those religious holidays I have seen my share of crucifixes. This one is BEAUTIFUL! ! It is made of resin and a stone, whyit is very weighty. It is also very detailed. Looks to be made of a rich woodgrain & an antique gold. Would make a wonderful wedding gift, housewarming or for no reason at all gift. It will be appreciated & admired. I couldn'the believe the quality of this crucifix for what paid Less then $20. But the detail on the piece is truly a work of art. For anyone not for formiliar with the Roman inc. company, this this the same that make the famous SERAPHIM ANGELS.
