does the divice have a speaker for playback  without using the Headphone jack?

Yes, this device has a Built-in speaker however, the built-in speaker is for checking the recorded sound, so the volume is limited. If playback sound is not loud enough or is difficult to hear, use headphones instead.

Hi, can a microphone be plugged in. to expand the distance of recording? for example, during a lecture where the speaker is a little further away.
