Review: Decent little teapot at this price, but may not be for everyone - I'm giving this little teapot (please note it's not a tea kettle but a teapot) five stars because it's perfect for my needs. I especially like the reusable basket where the loose tea goes. It's easy to fill and empty, unlike those little screw-top tea thingees on a chain. But this teapot does have drawbacks that others have mentioned. First, it's rather small. I bought the one-liter version and, while I haven't bothered measuring its volume, it can't possibly be a liter. The stainless steel is sturdy and attractive but shows every fingerprint and waterspot. Yes, the little spherical knob gets hot, but once the water is added and the lid put in place . . . so what? All in all a good little teapot if you like the look of it and only need a small pot. PS: You'll need a brush of some sort to clean the inside because you'll never get your hand in there.
Review: Keeps liquid hot..... - Love it. Just like the ome at my favorite Thai restaurant. I use it 3 to 4 times a week.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be heated on the stove?**
A: No, as per description/ instructions.

**Q: When washing the teapot for the first time, do you do it with the Vinegar solution they talk about in the manual? Or with just soap and water?**
A: Since I'm a person who rarely reads instructions, I didn't do the vinegar. I love this pot. I did use soap and water and use this teapot a lot. It holds much more than it looks like it will hold and it keeps the tea warm for a long time. It was a great purchase and I highly recommend to anyone. I love it.

**Q: Can this be used to pour over coffee grinds?**
A: If you want to pour hot boiling water over ground coffee I suggest that you get a French press. This is a tea pot.

**Q: What is the diameter of the bottom (please, indicate teapot size--1l or 1.5 liter, and it can't be 8.5" like someone answered)?**
A: I have the 1.5 liter teapot. The very bottom is a flat circle with a diameter of 3 inches. BTW, I love this teapot, it was perfect for my clutzy husband (unbreakable lol).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent little teapot at this price, but may not be for everyone

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps liquid hot.....
*by D***S on April 12, 2026*

Love it. Just like the ome at my favorite Thai restaurant. I use it 3 to 4 times a week.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable Manly Teapot
*by B***N on March 8, 2026*

The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is because of the tea basket. I got the 1.5 liter size and if you want to make two cups of tea the tea infuser isn't long enough to be submerged by the water, so you have to make at least 3 cups of tea. Otherwise, its very durable and keeps my tea hot till the last cup so I'm happy with it.
