I used these in a custom frame for some motorbike saddlebags, they did the job admirably. The packaging they came in was also very good, a plastic box.

These 'U'bolts are really good and I used them to attach a recently refurbished weather vane to my greenhouse. They were just the right size for the metal tube fixed to the wooden post adjacent to my greenhouse. It looks splendid. The greenhouse itself is made of lightweight aluminium and it was not easy to fix the weather vane to it.

The distance between the legs was supposed to be 31mm, but it was only 30mm when items arrived, therefore I had to make adjustments to the project. While this is not a big problem for me it may be for others. The U bolts themselves are of very good quality and cannot be faulted.
