I'm a 330lb woman so I proceed with caution for all my "plus sized" products. The 3x fit well. I just needed to pull it. I was worried about all the rumors of the Velcro (Mine was great) but I think some misunderstood or some got a malfunctioning one that had every right to be replaced. The Velcro comes with a protective cover to be peeled off and chucked aside. The Velcro sticks to the band itself. VERY powerfully. Pretty sure I could put the band on a ceiling, attach the Velcro to some shoes and hang upsidedown from it. The first time I tried to take it off I was sure I was trapped as a sushi roll for the rest of my life. Had to wiggle my fingers between it carefully to get free. It gets less hardcore with a few wears but still sturdy. I had a ruptured appendix removed but after infection my healing process took a long while. My jiggly belly made the stitches pull a little harder and it still hurt when I got up to walk even on week 3. This wrapped my belly just enough to compress my belly, prevent the belly jigglies and walk a little easier. Bend a little easier and ride in a car going over pot holes easier. It isn't stiff enough to be a back brace nor a sports belly shaper. But for some compression and belly support. It works very nicely.

Velcro on this item is very difficult to pull apart making it very difficult to adjust or take off quality of item and it bunches. Very uncomfortable

I have been using this for a month. It is a light to medium level of support. There are no stays to help it keep it's shape and the elastic is somewhat flexible, so it is definitely not hospital grade, not heavy support. It is working well for me. It is comfortable enough that I can wear it all day. It is long top to bottom, which I need. I have had surgeries both above and below the waist and this supports both areas. The scratchy side Velcro is heavy duty and the rest of the band is usable as the soft Velcro. I can adjust the fit easily by pulling it tighter or just put the scratchy close to the end. The sizing they listed for this was accurate for me. Measure top to bottom and around waist and hips to determine the size you need. Overall, this band is adequate for my needs. I wanted something I could wear all day every day without it cutting into my waist or folding over on itself. So far, this is meeting that need.

The Velcro was way too strong and it was hard to adjust. Also if you wore it everyday like I did for like a week it wore out VERY fast. If you don’t have another person to make it tight it will be pretty loose.

This was suggested to buy after my hysterectomy. It works perfect for the support. I was in so much pain before I finally bought this. After purchasing and wrapping my belly the pain was less, and I felt more supported. Its washable, fits great and stretches just the amount you need to wrap around the belly. This is not a waist trainer. I ordered the 4-panel 2XL

I bought this for support, not surgery after care. I was initially confused by the protective piece over the hook & loop. I later figured out that it is just to keep the hooks from sticking to the belt. I've used it for several days now. It is a wonderful purchase. There is enough hold that the belt stays tight for the entire day. Unlike the neoprene support, it is breathable. I was also worried about it being stiff, but it hasn't changed my mobility or comfort at all! Not only would I suggest it, I would buy it again.

Purchased this in May. By end of August the velcro no longer holds. Fabric is very light and thin as well. I’m very careful to fold the velcro into itself when I wash these too. Bummer that it didn’t last longer. I have had other binders for years, the quality on this one is not great.
