There is definitely a plastic taste sometimes, but it goes away with some good rinses. I took this on a trip to Italy and kept it in my Uniqlo cross body bag the whole time, it fit great. I got the smallest size, which I regret a bit because I would drink the whole thing in 1 gulp, but otherwise, I really liked how flexible it is.
