Super warm, durable and cheap. Awesome glove for Colorado boarding and skiing
These are legit the warmest gloves I've ever used. And the cheapest. Fantastic quality too - they have few marks after 30 days on the mountain. My snowboard edge has not cut them yet, and grabs are generally how my gloves start to fall apart. I tried all sorts of gloves (Hestra heli, fall line and patrol as well as Swany, Free the Powder, Burton) and all of them resulted in cold fingers under 10 degrees F. I had always heard about the 901's so I gave them a try and turns out they are better than everything else. Seriously... they are warmer than a "heli" glove that costs nearly ten times as much. I'm guessing the only thing warmer than these is the equivalent Kinco mitten with the glove fingers inside. I need some dexterity so these gloves are the one for me. Durability is top notch and I will surely get two seasons or more (150+ days) out of these. I snosealed them straight away although it probably isn't necessary for riding in Colorado. I think sealing them reduced breathability a bit but that also seems to help retain heat. In any case they have been in several storms and I haven't had any problems with them getting wet. These come with Nikwax but that stuff smells bad and looks super gross and chemy. No thanks. Snoseal is cheap and seems like mostly straight beeswax. It also doesn't smell foul. Put your oven on as low as it goes and cook the stuff in. My jacket cuffs easily go over these and seal for keeping powder out so the under-cuff style is preferred for me. Ymmv. As for sizing I wear XL in all the glove brands I mentioned, and I went with a large for these. I could almost go a step smaller but I think a medium would be too small. As others have noted the fingers seem to be a bit long, but after you break them in and they get lots of creases and a natural bend to them they will effectively shorten up and likely be just fine. Once the temps are in the mid twenties these are a bit warm for me and my hands start to sweat a bit. So I guess that's a mark against breathability but I think that helps retain heat in the really low temps. I have spring gloves for those conditions anyway so I don't care. No single glove can do it all in my opinion. If you ride in really cold temps you owe it to yourself to give these a try.

I'll definitely buy another couple pair if these hold up!
Living in Alaska I go through winter gloves like crazy, because I'm never happy with a winter glove. You have your ski gloves that don't hold up to work duty & then the other so called work gloves that either fail to keep your hands warm or fall apart within a week or so, or the liner/insulation pulls out with sweaty fingers. Then you have mittens and you can't get any work done. Enough said about that. I ordered my Kinco's in XL since that is my usual size. I was surprised to find the gloves were too large for me & I should have ordered the large. I didn't want to send them back so I ended up shrinking them to fit my hands perfectly, which I generally do with all of my leather gloves. Before shrinking the gloves to fit my paws, I did notice that the gloves we're pretty stiff and they would require breaking in like most better quality leather gloves require. I was apprehensive about the lining, would it stay in place or pull out of the finger holes or pull out during the multiple test fittings? For me, once a glove liner pulls out, in the garbage it goes. I don't have the patience to work the liner/ insulation back into each finger hole. I was happy to find the lining stayed in place throughout my fitting process. 👍 The gloves came off soaking wet with a bunch of trial and error. If the liner was going to pull out, it sure would have during the fitting process/curing process. The Kinco gloves come with two small packages of wax that is more then enough for each glove, and might help soften the leather. I've used a local made Mink oil for 35+ yrs. It has always water proofed/protected my leather products as well as helped soften/break in my leather goods. After two days of working my gloves to fit & protect, we had a bit of weather roll in, with 9" of snow over a couple days. I'm pretty happy so far with my gloves. My hands didn’t get cold nor did they over heat. I'm curious to see what happens down the road. It doesn't take much for me to work up a sweat and then end up getting a chill. The gloves are well made & have held up real well since I had to abuse the seams & what not getting them to "custom fit" me & I haven't found any work style gloves in this price range that take the abuse & be able to work more then a day without the seams falling apart. The day the gloves arrived we were at the tail end of a cold streak & it was - 8° below 0, my hands were toasty warm for the 20 mins or so I was outside. All though they were oversized which was my fault & quite stiff, you can get past all of these minor inconveniences once you order the correct size and use/rub/work in whatever your choice of moisture protection is & break in your gloves. If you choose to use Mink oil, be prepared for the leather to change color. I didn't use the enclosed wax so I don't know if it will discolor your gloves. But they are gloves right? As long as they keep my hands warm they can be pink. {then again maybe not😆} I will update my review as winter progresses and how long it takes to break the gloves in. As well as how these gloves hold up. To be completely honest my gloves will take longer to break in then most other folks since I went through the trouble of custom fitting mine. If these do hold up I will buy a couple more pairs for each vehicle/emergency use & perhaps a pair for my daughter to keep in her car.

A well made durablere warm glove at a fantastic price point.
These glove have exceeded my expectations. I read through many of the reviews and almost did not make my purchase. The complaints were too stiff, too large and the fingers were cut too long. I went to the companies website to get their sizing chart. I ordered a size large. I have a large hand with short fingers. The gloves fit perfectly except the thumb is a little bit long. All the other fingers fit well. I applied the supplied waterproofing and worked it into the gloves. The amount of waterproofing was more than enough to treat both gloves. I wore the gloves and kept working the leather to get rid of the stiffness. The only thing that makes the glove feel stiff now is the insulation in the fingers keeps you from making a tight fist. I have used the gloves a number of times outdoors to use the snow blower. Once it was 5 degrees F. and my hands stayed warm. Now that they are broken in I have no complaints. They fit well and are really well made and expect that they will last me for years to come. I would recommend these gloves. If you are undecided go for it, you will be pleased.

Decent.
Excellent glove for the price, but simply does not maintain dexterity like other more premium gloves. These are great if you are working outside in the cold, or resort skiing and don't need to fiddle to much. These would be a poor choice for touring.

Good snowboard gloves.
Great gloves for the winter. I wear them for snowboarding. Covered them in SnowSeal and baked in the oven each season. This is my second season with them and they are warm and comfortable. Waterproof with the snowseal baked in. Finger length is good and provides a good grip on my board when I carry it.

Use for ski patrolling, amazing gloves, keeps your hands warm and also provides great grip when pilling the toboggan. Make sure you get the Nikwax.

Not "field" tested the gloves yet but on first impressions, these gloves will do just fine for working outdoors in winter. Nice leather, good stitching & reinforced in the heavy wear areas. Insulated, but not so bulky that you loose dexterity in your fingers despite being a thick leather glove. Key to mobility (as with most leather gloves) is to seal them. Took a star off because the advertised wax was NOT included. Gloves are almost a yellow colour new but darken to a nice tan/brown once sealed. All leather gloves take a little time to "break in" but after sealing; the leather softened up & I can clench my fist comfortably knowing that dexterity will only get better over time as the gloves are used. These will serve me well at work & am going to buy another pair for recreation in the "woods". Personally I would not call this a ski glove (at least I will not be using them for that). I used Howard Butcher Block Conditioner (available on Amazon) to seal all my new leather gloves. Its a combination of "food grade" mineral oil, carnauba wax & beeswax. All mineral oil is petroleum based & usually not recommended for leather but this product contains food grade oil and the ratio of carnauba wax/beeswax is high so it makes an excellent "first time" leather glove conditioner + sealer. Love this stuff! Oh yah, it works good on the other stuff too !

They advertised “pack of 2” but sent 1 pair. But it’s a nice pair for the price anyway.

The item description says “Pack of 2”. I assumed this meant two pairs of gloves, since most humans I know have two hands and as far as I know you can generally only buy gloves as a set of two gloves. My package only included one pair of gloves, not two. Disappointed because this was a gift and I have no time to get it again. They also fit large.
