SMALLRIG Magnetic Adapter Mount

I use this with a DJI Osmo Action 4 action camera. This adaptor allows me to fasten my Action 4 to either my DJI selfie stick or my arca swiss plate of my tripod whilst only needing to carry this one adaptor. Very useful. The adaptor itself is made of metal, not plastic and is therefore surprisingly heavy for its size. However, for me this is good as the whole adaptor is very well engineered, feels high quality and ensures me that its not gonna break! It's a bit expensive compared with other similar items, but as always, this is a perfect example of why paying a bit more is very worthwhile. It works perfectly, feels solid, IS solid. If I was asked "would I buy this again", not only would I say Yes, but in fact this is my second purchase. I keep one in my home studio and I also keep one in my camera bag.

If youre in any doubt which Magentic mount you should buy for your Osmo Action camera then stop right there and look no further, this is without doubt the best on the market, it’s compact, it looks and feels well built and thats because it is, as are all SmallRig devices I've encountered It’s ease of use is equalled by it’s build quality, it just feels right when using it, srong magnetic, secure clips, buy it and you won’t look back. Update: there is a small bit of movement when connected. Very small but noticeable when compared to other alternatives. Bought this for the osmo action 4 and it works fine - just have to make sure that it is secure. Build quality is good for the screw thread and connection, I am less convinced on the traditional mounting, time will tell whether it is a little flimsy. It may be ok... Would recommend

Bought few of these for my Osmo Action 3, and love it, it can be attached to typical action cam mount or to 3/4" screw. Has additional locating holes for ARRI - so it's very secure. Has strong magnet. Be careful tho - it's very small, I already lost one somewhere.

Solid, but not stable. The Action 4 is a strong magnetic fit but rattles around in the cradle Will be fine for stationary usage but the rattling / loose fit not suitable for action usage

I use this SMALLRIG Magnetic Mount Adapter with my DJI Action 5, and it works perfectly. Functionally, it’s just like the official DJI magnetic mounts, but the build quality is noticeably better. It feels solid and well-made, with a strong magnetic connection that gives confidence when the camera is attached. No flex or cheap feeling at all. Overall, it’s a superb product, and I’ll definitely be buying more SMALLRIG mounts in the future.

Solidly built and appears a precision piece of kit - until you clip it onto the action 2, at which point you realise that the latch arms are infinitesimally too short and don't both engage; one or the other, but not both. So the camera is only held on by the magnet, which isn't ideal in active scenarios.

J’ai acheté ce support pour ajouter une position supplémentaire sur ma cage de Osmo Pocket 3 comme ça j’ai deux positions pour mettre un pied de GoPro. Ça fait le job parfaitement comme vous pouvez le voir sur les images. Ça me permet d’avoir l’écran en face de moi si le support est de mon côté. Franchement validé ✅

Perfect fit with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Quality product and fits nicely with the SMALLRIG 4191.

Ursprünglich hatte ich mit 2 Sternen bewertet und folgendes dazu geschrieben: --- Gute Idee, insgesamt saubere Verarbeitung und hochwertiges Material. Aber: Die Klammern rasten nicht sauber ein. Weder am Smallrig Cage für die Osmo Pocket 3 noch an der Osmo Action 5 Pro. Man muss immer extrem drücken und die Klammern von Hand zusammenpressen. Das finde ich für den Preis schlicht dreist und deshalb geht das Ding zurück. --- Nachdem ich die Rücksendung erledigt und bereits meine Rückerstattung erhalten hatte, kontaktierte mich Smallrig und bot mir eine Erstattung an. Ich antwortete, dass sich die Sache für mich schon erledigt hat, aber ich vielleicht gelegentlich nochmal einen Adapter bestellen würde, um zu sehen, ob dieser besser bzw. passgenauer verarbeitet ist. Es gab dann ein paar Nachrichten hin und her über Toleranzen, Material und Verarbeitung. Schließlich bot mir Smallrig an, einen neuen / weiteren Adapter zu senden, damit ich mir das nochmal ansehen und ausprobieren könnte. OK, das hatte ich nicht erwartet, stimmte zu und bereits einen Tag später lag ein neuer Adapter im Briefkasten. Und was soll ich sagen: Der passt wirklich wie angegossen. Absolut sauber, liegt gut an, passgenau, zuverlässige Verriegelung, leichtes Entriegeln. Normalerweise würde ich dem Teil nun 5 Sterne geben, aber weil der erste Adapter eher mäßig war, max. 4 Sterne für die Rezension. Der wirklich freundliche Kundenservice, nette Nachrichten und schnelle Reaktion sind mir aber 1 Stern extra wert. Also mein Fazit: Kann man bedenkenlos kaufen, im Fall eines Problems hilft der Smallrig Support.
