The product was good and worked as expected

Simple tool for a simple job. I used it to determine that my ground rod to my service was obviously cut off and was not presenting < 25 ohms so I added a second ground rod and measured again and in my case, I had to add a third due to the shallow soil. This could save you time and money if you are an elecrician as you can determine if a single ground rod meets the standard of 25 ohms or less before you get your inspector telling you.

TLDR Pros: High Precision, 16' leads and ground spikes included, lead covers Cons: Direction clarity, lead clamps This is a complete ground resistance test kit including: resistance tester, tester cover plate, 8 AA batteries, tester shoulder strap, 2 x 3' tester leads, 3 x 16' test leads on individual spools, 2 x metal ground spikes and carrying case. I thought this would be more like a Digital Multi Meter, it's not. It is a specialized ground resistance tester for measuring resistance through the earth for outdoor electrical projects like solar or lighting ground rods. It will measure the electrical resistance of anything very precisely-the short leads are great for this--but the long leads, ground spikes, and multiple test points were designed for earth-ground resistance tests (see picture of use diagram from instructions). Presumably if you are thinking about getting this you already know what this is for and how you would use it. The instructions are a little hard to follow and I'm not sure they would suffice to tell some with no experience how to perform the measurement. It takes 8 AA batteries which are included. The test leads come in two lengths including a 3 foot length for testing small local parts and 16' cables for performing a distributed ground resistance test. The long leads come on their own winding spools which I love; keeps the cords neat and untangled. All the leads come with protective plastic caps for the leads. When working with very low resistance measurements it is imperative that terminal connections are clean and rust/tarnish free as even a small amount can lead to several ohms of resistance. The meter has a convenient press-and-hold measurement button but it doesn't do continuous testing (probably to save on batter life) like other resistance testers I've used. It will measure from kOhms to 10's of milliohms. Note, the max scale is 2000 ohms so it won't measure mega ohm resistances. I am very curious how accurate it is. I have no reason not to believe it, but I know that even 1 ohm is a very small resistance. To be able to measure to hundredths of ohms is quite a feat and just makes me wonder about absolute accuracy. It also comes with 2 heavy-duty metal ground spikes for sampling earth resistance. These are ~1/4" diameter spikes that are very robust. All the equipment fits easily into the supplied carrying case which is internally subdivided to keep things organized and easily accessible. My only complaint is that the clamping jaws on the leads feel a little cheap; they are a little hard to open and don't open quite as much as I would like. But all-in-all, a very good value.
