I love hot plate. Use it everyday and it works flawlessly. I would buy again.

My gas cooktop was beginning to "scare" me ("clicks" but doesn't always light--even though I had burners professionally cleaned) This Techwood Hot Plate is much safer and so easy to use. Plus the "cleanup" is simple--Very Happy)

I own a gas stove, which I love, however I have lung disease. I’m on oxygen 24/7 so every time I cook I have to turn off my oxygen in order to cook. This has become exceedingly difficult. Hence I purchased this two burner hot plate and it has solved my problem. I’m very happy with this product. It heats up quickly, maybe not as quickly as natural gas, but it heats up well. It’s easy to clean and extremely attractive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on safety is because it gets hot to the touch and takes quite a while to cool off.

Was looking forward to this I have a glass top built in but it’s new I didn’t want to scratch it up and it’s hard to clean oil splatter off it .. anyway it’s a two element the right burner gets hot enought to fry food but the left won’t reach boiling .. tested it with an 8” pot with one inch of water .. after I hour it still didn’t boil the water, it forms bubbles and the red light goes out (I’m sad and lazy I hate to return stuff) I’ll struggle for a day or two but will probably return it. Why can’t things just work when you buy them?

I purchased this for my parents and they use it daily. Instead of cooking indoors and leaving a cooking smell inside they cook outside and they love it. They love that it’s electric and not on propane. They have used it close to a year and it’s still going strong.

This product turns off on its own especially when using both plates. You have to keep turning off and on the knob on the back to restart the plate. Not dependable.

Bought for my cabin because I don’t want a propane oven. I keep it in a drawer so that frees up countertop space. Plug and play. I do chicken, tacos, breakfast.. works perfectly. What it lacks is boiling a large pot of water. It took about a solid hour… so spaghetti is off the menu. It doesn’t trip my breakers either.
