Far Better than the Cheap Models
Gives a readout of the carbon monoxide levels. Glad to see it's reading zero. Easy to mount. The ultra sensitive model is far better than the bargain brand detectors since it responds quicker ... which is important if there is a fireplace in the house, gas stove, or gas heat.

Good peace of mind
Bought this because I wanted to test for low ppm CO. Says there is 0 carbon monoxide, makes me feel better knowing I'm not breathing in any carbon monoxide lol Easy to use and set up, and definitely loud enough to wake you up.

It really detects CO at 10ppm.
I bought these because my heater system is 10yo and am concerned that as it ages, CO leaks may become likely to occur. It has worked well and recorded CO levels as low as 11ppm, though without seeing of the alarm because the level didn't last long enough. I suspect my oven as the source of CO because my heaters runs for weeks without registering anything above the minimum 10ppm. I rated this product 4 stars solely because Kiddie states it includes batteries but they only provide 2 batteries when it requires 3 batteries. Kiddie refused to give me the additional battery.

Reads at low levels
I love that this monitor can read low levels of CO. We have a gas stove and when I turn it on the monitor picks up on that and reads around 15. When I turn the stove off it goes back to 0. Gives me great peace of mind. I have another CO monitor that won’t display anything until 70 supposedly. I much prefer this one where I can see any level over 10.

Much better sensor than most. Easier to install than others.
I was concerned about the possibility of gas that would be below the standard ceiling installed alarms I have. This one is very sensitive and so easy. I just put the batteries in and sat it on top of a bureau.

Unit 1 year old upon receipt
Haven't set it up yet, but it was manufactured in August 2023 and received in October 2024. Not sure if that is "old" stock but a little disappointing.
