Contains air for the airbrush and keeps pressure constant
I needed this to run from the Iwata air compressor to the Iwata regulator I bought separately. This has been a fantastic setup, the hose fit wonderfully and feels like good quality. All the air seems to stay inside the hose with no leaks. Pressure stays consistent. Worth it!

1/4 NPT Female to 1/8 BSP Female
This hose will connect the typical standard air brush threading found on Iwata and GSI Creos air brushes and standard air brush accessories such as moisture traps or quick disconnects (1/8th inch BSP) to the standard threading found on most pneumatic hoses, compressors, and air tanks you find in a garage or workshop (1/4th inch NPT). If you are attempting to adapt an airbrush to such a standard pressurized air supply, you only need to find a way to adapt your female NPT end to your supply. You can find NPT fittings and adapters easily at your local hardware store in the US. Once you have this hose, you should be able to get it hooked up without waiting for any additional online orders for strange and rare adapters to come in. The hose itself seems to be of good quality and each end uses o-rings, which should provide a tight seal without the need for teflon thread tape or thread sealant.

Be careful with the adapter end you buy.
There seems to be a discussion on here. Is it NPT or BSP or BSPP so I set off in search since no one seemed to have a link to one that would work. Just needed an adapter and without buying a bunch of other parts settled on this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DN3L9N2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Well that didn't work! Whatever adapter you choose should work if it has a flat male end and contacts the o-ring in the hose. I wasted $10 on this one cause the male end doesn't touch the o-ring (the male end hole is only 1/4"). So the important thing is the hose center metal ring the o-ring fits is approx. 19/64. If you have a fitting that doesn't at min have that size hole it won't contact the o-ring. The quick connect adapter in the pick hole is 19/64 and slides right over the center of the hose and has good contact with the o-ring. No air leaks at all. You can feel when it contacts the o-ring and don't have to use a wrench to tight it. Works perfect. Hope this helps save people that use NPT from wasting time and money on something else. When you can get at Home Depot or here. Just make sure the hole on adapter is >=19/64 and you will be fine. Either the manufacture doesn't read comments on here or doesn't care to mention what threads the compressor end of the hose uses or link to or supply and compatible adapter. Shame on them.

This is BSP threading, not NPT threading.
Excellent Airbrush Hose. I purchased this with my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and the quick release. The 1/8th side fits perfectly into the quick release, which fits perfectly onto the airbrush. The end that screws into the air compressor is 1/4th BSP, not NPT. The air compressor that I purchased has a 1/8th thread, so I had to find an adapter for it. I went to my local hobby store and they gave me a 1/4" Male NPT- 1/8" BSP Female adapter. The thread side was correct but there are 2 different thread standards, so the adapter would only fit crooked. You don't want to crossthread the adapter and the air hose. The product doesn't state if it's BSP or NPT thread size. "National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) is a U.S. standard for tapered threads used on threaded pipes and fittings." "British Standard Pipe (BSP)" I purchased the PointZero Airbrush Bushing Fitting 1/4" BSP Male - 1/8" BSP Female. I fits perfectly!!!! I'm so glad that I purchased this because I was cross-threading using the NPT threading adapter. This is how I found out that this product is BSP threading and not NPT threading. I hope this helps someone because I wasted 15$ total on 2 other adapters.
