I have owned a set of tools like these for many years, but bought these as a gift for my son. When he got them, he didn't know for sure what they were for. I explained how useful they are when fishing things out of restricted spaces. He nodded, thanked me, and changed the subject. Several months later we were together and he explained how he took these to work and is now the hero of the workplace. They get used frequently in the shop (recently to retrieve a nut from next to a hot exhaust pipe) as well as in the office, where the boss was seen fishing Jelly Bellies from down beside the cushion of his office chair. To me, tools like these are home/office/shop necessities, and this is what I consider to be a very functional "medium duty" set (some are longer, heavier, with stronger magnets) that should meet the needs of most users.

Very handy. Once you bend it, it stays in position, which is the opposite of most others that are available. Well made. If I lost it, I would buy another one.

This comes in handy around the house. Magnet is strong enough for our purposes. Very satisfied!

Ok, so i accidentally dropped a Waterpik head down the sink. I could see it. I had no way to get to it as it was very far down, but couldn't possibly go past the curved bend. I tried a hanger with gum. Nope. I tried to send a string down the drain to try to lasso it. Nope. I was honestly thinking I was going to have to pay a plumber to take the drain apart, which could cost a LOT of money, just to get the stupid Waterpik tip. Then it occurred to me, if I just look on Amazon, maybe, just maybe there's something I can buy and that's when I found this 24" bendable, flexible magnetic pickup tool with four claw grabber tool for a mere $12 and I figured I'd give it a try. Well, it arrived today and it's just such an amazing and simple to operate tool and it captured the Waterpik head on the first try. WOO HOO, this thing is awesome and worth so much more than we paid for it, when you consider how much it saved us over having to hire a plumber. This thing just works! And while I honestly hope we never have a need to use it again, it will last and be at the ready should we drop anything else down the drain!

Clumsy me tends to drop everything I touch, especially when working on a home repair project or under the hood of a car. Of course the dropped part always falls to the least reachable place. These little claw tools are an essential in any toolbox. I bought the SARDVISA Bendable Flexible Magnetic Pickup Tool on a Black Friday deal ($9.47) because I am trying to do more vehicle maintenance at home. The world isn't getting less expensive, as my recommended oil changes are now costing more than a hundred dollars with a coupon. This little magnetic grabber tool works fine. I do wish it was a hair longer, as the 24" length really isn't enough to reach those out-of-the-way places in a vehicle engine bay or cramped home repair location. For example, I had a clamp fall behind my refrigerator, and even with my arm reaching over the counter, it wasn't long enough to reach the floor. In retrospect, I would have looked for a 36" model at least. The quality is about what you'd expect at this price point. It works fine, but has a little bit of a rough, catchy motion when you use the plunger. I tried to use the magnet on the thing I dropped, but it wasn't strong enough to hold it. Overall, this is a decent but not great little grabber. Buy it on sale.

This grabber tool worked perfectly. We had something stuck in our washer/dryer drain. It was about 8-10" back in a 1-1 1/2" diameter channel so reaching it was not possible with fingers, needle nose plyers, etc. This tool was able to grab it fairly easily and then pull it out. Without this we would have had to have a service call for hundreds of dollars to disassemble the appliance to get to it.

Excellent item. I dropped a small bit of tubing down my tractor diesel tank and it got wedged deep inside out of sight. Using this tool I was able to fish it out in just a few seconds. Hopefully you won't have need of this tool often, but when you do you will be glad to have it. Plus its also fun to play with aroudn the house and grab stuff with it. It has great amount of "bite" and can really latch onto things if needed.

I dropped my handicapped placard down inside the dash of a big Honda Pilot. couldn't see it, and couldn't suck it up with the vacuum. This little grabber retrieved it on the first try and I was beyond thrilled. Absolutely gobbsmacked that the retrieval was that easy for a super thin item from the dashboard of my daughter's vehicle

Very third class product and worst service by supplier.

Lost a bulb in my headlights and used this to reach in to grab it
