Very good bore sight tool. Easy to use. Came with the batteries. Very bright laser. Highly recommend

as many described it stays on if the end is left on which isnt what it claims. Had to remove one battery and replace the end cap for storage. Also wish it was a 2.5 inch bore sight cause it was hell to you in my Henry Axe 410 that only uses 2.5 shells. Got it to work but man it was tough to get it in and get it back out. as far as the laser goes its kind of bright but not the brightest bore sighter i have used but worked when done at night. havent got to shoot since sighting it so can tell you how accurate the laser just set my sights to where the laser was at for now.

In order to workaround the poor battery-circuit connection I placed a very small chunk of 0000 steel wool between the batteries and the screw-on cap. That fixed the problem. This bore sight cartridge worked great on my KelTec KSG410. Once finished I emptied the batteries and steel wool back into the little ziploc they arrived in until next time I need this.

So far this seems like it will work great. I've only compared the dot to the bead at this point and it's right on the money...will be lining up the green dot scope with it soon but based on the bead vs laser it appears to be right on the money or very very close.

1) This Bore Sight appears to be well made, and of heavy brass construction. 2) Included instructions states how to install the 4 small, button batteries but the Bore Sight came with them already installed and required removing them as well as a piece of plastic that prevented accidental power-on... which requires reinstalling the batteries that depending on how well your dexterity is, may involve some light cursing. Anyway, upon installation of the Batts, the unit does power on. 3) The Red Laser does seem bright but if I follow the printed instructions on how to turn off the Laser ( by partially unscrewing the End Cap), the Laser does NOT turn off until the end cap is completely unscrewed. That's probably okay for long term storage, but it is not what's stated in the instructions ( with specifically states to " twist the cap until the Laser goes out ( on my unit, again that never happens until the end cap is removed. 4) successful application using this device to sight my shotgun is still to be determined later and this review and rating will be updated then if needed. 5) this unit was the only option on amazon for 410 Guage shotguns, and at $20, whether or not this Bore Sight is a good value will be also determined later after it is put to the test.. On a more positive note, the shipping from the Vendor outside Amazon was fairly fast!
