Coolin' Pet Bowl

This bowl is fabulous we put this down right inside our back door so dogs can have super cool water when coming in from our yard. It stays frozen for awhile. This suitable for large + breeds as it is huge. Easy to clean and freeze. Great value and ir stays in place. Side Note: make sure the plus is not missing as ours was and it will not work without it but the company was fabulous they sent us the part to fix it

I had never seen this great product till I came across one at a thrift store. Luckily it still had the product card in it. I put it to use immediately as I have several pets and wanted to keep the water cool. As soon as I realized what a great product this is I quickly searched Amazon and found one! I got it within two days and I am thrilled with it. It's so easy to clean and the crystals inside the body of the bowl activate with water added through the small removable rubber plug. It works brilliantly and keeps my dogs water so cold throughout the day. Even on the patio the water stays cool (of course in the shade) but it's awesome! Get your dogs this bowl to give them cool water for good health!

This bowl does keep my dog's water cold! I keep it on my front porch next to the water bowl hooked up to my water faucet. Both of them are in the shade but the temperature is running in the upper 90's going into the low 100's. Both my lab and poodle will run to these bowls when I let them out to use the bathroom. My lab goes straight to this one, my poodle may start drinking out of the old one but immediately switches to this new one! I put my finger in and at 2:00 pm it still feels cold. I do put a little bit of water in the bowl when I freeze it and that helps, I am sure. Bowl is heavy duty and holds about a gallon of water. Very pleased with it and so are my fur babies!!

Pros: the bowl is large, holds a lot of water. Always good thing in summer heat. It seems to be made of very sturdy plastic, I expect it will last a long time. The cooling effect helps, especially if I put in freezer for an hour or two. It helps cold water stay cool longer. Cons: the cooling effect is not as good as indicated. It is better than not having it, and dog definitely uses it over non cooled bowl. Bottom line: it is a good large water bowl that keeps water cooler than normal longer.

You have to fill the underside of the bowl to add water to activate the gel. Pop it in the freezer until you’re ready to use. It keeps water cool even in the hot weather we have had. Only drawback is it’s pretty heavy

There was no instruction card or label on the bowl, so I had to go by what the description said. It says to fill the ring with water, shake, leave for 45 minutes, then freeze. It did keep the water cold all day, but I thought that you had to empty the ring and refill with water to freeze anytime you wanted to reuse it. If you note in the pic descriptions, the "*" (asterisk) that says you only need to do it one time is at the part of leaving it for 45 minutes, it says nothing about you never have to refill again. When I went to empty the water out of the ring at the end of the day I lost a lot of the cooling crystals. I wish they'd put instructions clearly with this product. Money literally down the drain.

This is a nice big bowl that stays cold for while and would be good use outdoors. My problem is with the plug that is provided to seal the hole after you add the freezing product to the underside of the bowl. The first time I lost the plug I almost threw the bowl away. With perseverance I was able to retrieve the plug. Unfortunately, every single time I add water to the underside of the bowl to set it in the freezer I end up fishing the plug with tweezers....

The size is excellent for big dogs. Our boy is 120lbs. It stays cold and he drinks more. Excellent cooling dog bowl!!

Well worth the wait. Kept the dogs water ice cold all day. They actually preferred this bowl to the normal ceramic one.

Very handy in hot weather - I keep it inside the house for when I’m out at work. I check it when I get back home and sometimes water is still cool to the touch (depending on how hot it is, of course). Would recommend for your fur babies!
