This fits perfectly in the cup holder slots in my 2024 Crosstrek. It provides more support for my drinks - whether that be a plastic water bottle or a reusable water bottle. The drinks don't wobble as much with the insert. Plus, it makes the area easier to keep clean. I would recommend this for anyone with a Crosstrek with the specified model years.

This item fit perfectly in the existing cup holders. The reason for the low rating is twofold: 1) I realize you lose some space just because it fits inside the existing cup holders but it also has “grips” inside which limit the space even more. I can barely fit a 12oz. can in the holder without literally forcing it to the bottom and then it wants to pull out the insert every time I pick up the drink. The only can/cup that I have fit without forcing it in place is a Redbull can. 2) The main reason I purchased this item was to keep the main cup holders clean. Beside each of the “grips” mentioned before, there are holes in the bottom of the insert which will allow spills to go right through to the very cup holders I am trying to cover. I am still currently using it, but I am also actively seeking a better replacement.

Overall, this cupholder works, looks nice, and has a good value given the price. Four stars because of two issues I have with this product. The first issue is about the installation process. I feel the seller should include a visual installation guide, so other people won't experience the dropping of the nut (to which the cuoholder screws into) inside the dashboard and getting stuck. The process that seems reasonable for me, is to first pull out the trim piece with the nut and rubber alen screw. The piece is held by plastic clips, making it easy to remove with a firm tug. Once detached, it's much easier to stick and screw in the cupholder. The second issue I have with this, is the cup holding strength of the cupholder. When driving offroad, I've had a 0.5L bottle in the cupholder that wobbled violently during bumbs. On paved road this was less noticeable. But, the bottle never flew out, so I see this as good enough.

I suggest one should fit the cup holders on the dashboard and not on the door handles of the front seat. Fitting the cup holders on the front door handles takes away seating space and may poke your body.
