Softail Engine Guard Highway Mustache Crash Bar 1.25" Fat for 2000-2017 Harley FL Heritage Classic Deluxe Fat Boy FLSTF Models, Chrome

I bought this engine bar/ crash guard for my 2016 Harley Heritage Soft Tail Classic. It seems sturdy and fit perfectly! However, it came with bolts but did NOT come with lock nuts. I had to go to the local hardware store to buy some. (Pics are attached) Just make sure they are stainless steel parts. I installed it by myself but I’m pretty sure if you had a helping hand it would go a bit easier. All in all for the price and even though I had to buy the lock nuts and washers I still gave it a 5 star. Looks nice and easy install! Oh, and if you are wondering, the lower brackets go on the inside of the frame not the outside.

looks great on my Heritage, no need for highway pegs with the rubber foot rests on the top. I got two friends with Heritages and they like my crash bar better than their own. Very easy to install, fit perfect.

this looks great on my 2011 heritage .. is of good quality and the chrome is very good. easy to install and a good value for the price.

The engine guard come in and looks great. Heavy and sturdy. The bolts came less locking nuts had to get them from ACE SS they didn't have black anodized. Will install this weekend but I did a fit check fits 2016 HD FLSS. I could have given 5 star but not everything was perfect less nuts

Looks great and you’ll get compliments. That said, you will have to get hardware from your local hardware store to install. Ace hardware has the stainless steel for you. Highly recommend the product, just know you’ll need hardware to install. Install only takes minutes. I’ve attached a picture of the hardware you’ll need.

Plenty happy with them so far. I put them on my 2013 HD breakout, even though it wasn't specifically listed. Fitment was dead on, just needed to line up the holes with a pry bar about a half inch. Comes with chrome and stainless hardware. Bottom bolts don't thread into my frame, I put locknuts on them, the top bolt went in no problem. They are pretty stout, I plan to destroy them instead of my tank and cases if I drop it for whatever reason. Plus they look great, I was not expecting this kind of quality for 100 bucks really

Love this bar, was exactly what I was looking for only had to drill a separate hole in the mounting plate for it to fit perfectly on my Honda shadow, love the look of this bar and the rubber foot pads have held up to use for over 2000 Kms so far

It fit perfectly well packaged nice finish. My only gripe is I had to drive to Rona and spend $0.68 for 1 3/8 and 2 5/8 lock nuts. That should have been included.

Fit perfectly and everything lined up, the finish and welds are very nice and having the foot rests work nicely. As others have said there are no nuts and washers in the kit. I did mine at work so i had them handy, otherwise they are a great purchase
