Good for remote admin
These have saved me such a headache. When using a GPU rendering rig in a remote data center, RDP killed the GPU. Jump desktopโs fluid desktop was not acting right without a monitor. These items allowed jump desktop to work

Works great
I have 30 of these dummy plugs on headless computers, purchased over the last 2 years. All of them are working perfectly on Windows and Linux. (I use RDP occasionally, but prefer Nomachine because RDP disables the graphics hardware in the remote PC.)

Great for headless RPIs
I have a headless RPI that I remote into, and without this I can't remote in to a gui because the RPI reports no monitor. This fools the RPI into believing there is a monitor and boots the necessary video drivers. A great option for headless applications.
