Leather over rubber
The description reads leather but was not clear that it is leather over a rubber strap. Being all black it really isn’t noticeable and makes for a higher level of comfort than all leather, in my experience. It doesn’t need to be overly tight to stay in place. Too many all leather straps lead to the watch sliding around. This stays in place. Good quality and fit. Just the initial expectation that it would be all leather puts me off a bit. Appears to be genuine Tissot.

Beautiful Sturdy Strap
The starp is really nice. Those who were saying that it’s rubber and not leather and they have paid a lot of money for just a rubber, they do not understand that the leather is encased within a rubber so that it does not absorb moisture from the body. Any day this trap will outlive pure leather strap. This strap looks beautiful on a Tissot Seastar 1000

Plastic, NOT leather!!
This is NOT leather! I paid $50 bucks for cheap plastic, not even good quality rubber. Very disappointed. If you’re looking for a LEATHER, do NOT order this product.
