EKWB EK-Quantum Velocity Backplate - LGA1700

There are several negative reviews on here that clearly did not read the details about this product and it's extremely frustrating seeing how upset they are due to their own mistakes.#1 - I see many mention that it did not work on their EK AIO. Just wow...This backplate is NOT (and never has been mentioned as) compatible with any EK AIO. This is folks for custom loops only that either have, are already using, or will purchase an EK-Quantum Velocity waterblock specifically and it works only for that model. Don't blame the product for trying something else on your own that the company never promised would work.#2 - The other people mentioning the screws are missing...facepalm. Guys...if you have an EK Quantum Velocity waterblock (which is exactly what this backplate is made for) you already have screws available that came with your waterblock. The company mentions this several times in their instructions. The ones for the LGA1151 install are exactly the ones that you need. You don't need any kind of elongated ones or anything special like that. I had a Z390 board with a 9900K using the LGA1151 socket (as was native for my EK Velocity waterblock) and just purchased this backplate and transferred the same screws I used on my Z390 board over to my new Z790 board with a 13600K and it worked perfectly. Not a single issue and no modifications required to get it installed.There are clearly many folks on here that don't read properly so pay them no attention. If you have an EK Velocity waterblock and have all the original hardware it came with then you are all set. Buy this and reuse the screws that came with your block already. Nothing else required.

If you know what your buying this is exactly what you need to take your Intel 115x EKWB Velocity water block to Intel 1700.

This product ONLY contains the rubber and metal backplates and IS NOT the upgrade kit. This does not contain the required elongated screws needed to use on z690+ motherboards. The screws provided with your original EK AIO purchase are not long enough. AVOID THIS LISTING IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO USE AN EK AIO WITH YOUR LGA 1700 MOTHERBOARD.

It fitted good to stabilize the AIO

This will work just fine on an lga 1151 "ek aio basic" , but you will need screws long enough and spacers for it to work. I wound up using a back plate from a deepxool aio I used for an add chip. Used the Intel spacers and the head nuts from noctua parts I had laying around. Good to keep you're parts. Ek aio basic 360 over an i7 14700k idles ~30°is. Thanks

The threaded holes are too big to fit the EK 360mm AIO and the AIO I purchased from EK didn't come with an LGA 1700 bracket. They have been backordered for months with the bracket and at this point I'm convinced that they have no plans on selling a bracket that fits their AIOs. Now I have a useless bracket and a useless cooler. Thanks EK!
