This stuff works great. I use it a lot. It works better than the vibratite brands version and costs less than the loctite brand version. Been using it for years. It’s replaced blue loctite for most things for me. Absolutely worth the money.

I was unaware of this level 'purple', so when I looked at a different version and noticed the back I noticed this version. It is perfect for what I need. I'm knocking it down one star because, like the other versions, is ridiculously thin which makes it hard to control and not get everywhere.

I was looking for something not quite as strong as Blue Loctite 242 to hold thumbscrews in place on a couple optics that would loosen at the range. 242 is a bit strong, especially on really small screws. I found this purple to be excellent for anti-vibration on screws smaller than 1/2in causing them to behave much like the very thick thread compound Magpul places on their included hardware. Removing the screw only requires mild force compared to 242. Ive always been worried with 242 on smaller screws with the removal force, worrying it was going to damage the screws. I found this to be a nice anti-vibration level of thread locker.
