Great product! I used this to make homemade beef tallow soap.

This brand is hard to find so it was good to find it here. It has done the job it was meant to do and the quality is good.

Works perfect with my handmade soap. You have to be so careful when using it because it will burn you. Once the soap is made, it is not lie anymore once it’s gone through the process

Be Careful! Wear a mask and glasses! Otherwise this product has worked well for soaps for my home.

Very consistent for soap making. It does clump, but clumps are easy to break up with a plastic spoon.

There are so many uses for this lye since it is food grade. The crystals are uniform in size, making it easy to handle. My major use right now is in ridding my yard of moles, voles, and ground squirrels (aka gophers). A long handled spoon and a gloved hand are important for handling this product. Just put a spoon full down well inside the critter's hole and let them get a hot foot. I even had gophers coming up on my deck. Something had to be done before the wee beasties dug right into our basement. Nothing had worked in discouraging them until this. Just make sure it goes well down into the hole so it's not picked up unintentionally by other creatures. It may be an unconventional use for this product, but in two days I didn't have any more vermin camping on my doorstep.
