Affordable, well made, we owe China a true big thumb up, without china, everything is too expensive, lots of Western company hold the price extremely tight. I knew there are so many bad products, but you can't fault a jade with its dots.

Good strong product, easy to use

I brought this item and was quite pleased with its magnification and sturdy construction. It looks good and generally feels good quality. But I feel it could be made better. For a start, the plastic insert of the lifting handle wobbles when it should be tightly fitted. The top light isn't bright enough, and is in the wrong position, as the lenses put the specimen that's on the slide in the shade. This makes it harder to see the details of the objects. If the top light was in a better position this wouldn't happen. The metal pointer doesn't seem to have any reason for being there other than getting in the way. But it is quite easy to remove it from the eyepiece. When I try to use the largest magnification lense, it cannot focus with 2 slides because the lense hits the slide. Because I brought a known make of Swift, I was expecting to see some kind of emblem. But instead, they've just put on a little paper sticker saying Swift. And finally, on a positive note, I was pleased to see that the light can be plugged into a USB port. But there was no mention of this in the items description. Having said all that, we have been very pleased looking at insects, etc.. The optics are pretty good.

Strongly made and performs well. The only criticism I have is that the instruction manual could have been better. Still it’s a great quality microscope and good value for money.

Consiglio assolutamente in questo caso l' acquisto di un set di vetrini. È un buon punto di partenza. Io sono riuscito a sostituire il tavolino con uno che monta abbe condenser e slider per vetrini. Ho aggiunto un oculare 2x e adesso ci si può fare un po' di tutto Non ho provato ma anche sostituire gli obiettivi con altri più pregiati dovrebbe essere facile, gli attacchi sono standard

Calidad-precio, el mejor microscopio que he comprado. La calidad de imagen es excelente, los materiales se sienten robustos y bien construidos. Aunque no incluye accesorios, cumple perfectamente su función y es ideal para quienes ya tienen material complementario. Muy recomendable si buscas algo fiable sin gastar una fortuna.

Se ve con buena claridad los glóbulos rojos, levaduras (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). La luz superior ayuda mucho para visualizar partes de insectos.

Like most of these low cost microscopes they come from one or two factories in China with several names on them. Excellent quality for their low cost, everything works, two minor things, the low power eyepiece has a pointer in it which is annoying though its easy to remove if you want to do so. Also the eyepieces are a slack fit in the holder, easy to drop if you tilt the instrument down, other than that fit and finish were very good, heck they even include batteries and a dust cover. Ideal for the casual hobbyist or teen.

Having been given one at that age changed my life in the direction of science as well as art. The SWIFT Monocular Microscope is an excellent choice for individuals interested in seeing some of the unseen. I have a LEICA Binocular Biological Microscope, as well as a laboratory quality NIKON Binocular Microscope. Both of which are rather large and unwieldy for travel. I acquired the SWIFT microscope because I was traveling and couldn't transport either of the other microscopes to new locations on a regular basis. It was utilized in order to become familiar with the use of a SWIFT Microscope Ocular Camera and the accompanying software...as well as the use of various focus staking software applications. In addition, I'd never used a microscope that featured illumination that originates above the stage. This SWIFT Monocular Microscope is well built, well designed, and completely portable. Although the techniques for illumination has multiplied significantly, this microscope, with the use of the SWIFT Microscope Ocular Camera, is an excellent introduction for anyone interested in the process by which photomicrographic images are produced. It would make an excellent gift for a grade schooler who exhibits an interest in the world of science. Throughout the years, I have given microscopes to children as gifts hoping that its use would introduce them into the wonderful world of microscopy. I will continue to do so!
