Ok.... but....
Been suing for 2 weeks- teeth and gum health ok, dont see any trouble- but leaves a very strange taste in mouth after brushing/wash- i feel some very strong ingredients perhaps chemicals are included- in fact it worries me- may work in short term but am worried will have negative effect in long run- so stopping it after 2 weeks use.

Disappointed by the formulation and how the clinical evidence is presented
I bought Parodontax Ultra Clean because my dentist advised me to use a fluoride toothpaste and this product is strongly marketed around gum health, including the claim on the carton that it is “proven to improve gum health from first week of use.” After receiving it, I was disappointed to find Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) in the formulation. SLS is a strong surfactant and published dental literature shows that it can cause oral mucosal irritation in susceptible individuals. For a toothpaste positioned particularly toward people concerned about their gums, I personally would have preferred a gentler SLS-free formulation. I also looked up the exact scientific paper printed on the carton: Axe et al., BMC Oral Health 24, 209 (2024). The research is real and was a randomized clinical trial, but there is important context consumers should know. The paper itself states that the study was funded by Haleon, that Haleon was involved in the study design, analysis, interpretation and preparation of the manuscript, and several of the authors were employees of Haleon/GSK Consumer Healthcare. The contract research organization conducting the study had also received Haleon funding. That does not mean the research is fake, but I think this context is relevant when the resulting research is used for a prominent “scientifically proven” marketing claim. There are further limitations. The trial's primary efficacy endpoint was at 6 weeks; the week-1 measurements were exploratory endpoints. Participants also received a professional dental cleaning before starting treatment, with plaque removed to essentially zero, something the authors themselves acknowledge limits how the findings should be interpreted. Most importantly, the experimental toothpaste described in the cited paper contained sodium hyaluronate, sodium bicarbonate and sodium fluoride, whereas sodium hyaluronate does not appear in the ingredient list of the Parodontax Ultra Clean tube I received. Another control toothpaste without sodium hyaluronate was also tested successfully, but the publication does not make it clear to me that this was the exact complete commercial Indian formulation sold in my tube. My pack also declares approximately 927 ppm available fluoride when packed, which I would have liked to see more clearly highlighted given that fluoride protection was one of my main reasons for purchasing it. Overall, the product may work well for many people, but after reading both the ingredient list and the actual paper cited on the carton, I am not comfortable with the formulation or with how much nuance is lost in the marketing claim. I would not purchase it again.
