I love products that actually work and are made in the USA! This water jug is heavy duty, and extremely functional for my needs. I use it for draining water from my dehumidifier located in my house, as my house sits on a concrete slab which absorbs humidity through the floor necessitating an in-house dehumidifier. I was emptying buckets from the dehumidifier every 6-8 hours in the summer months. My solution was to use the drain cock on the dehumifier with an attached short length of garden hose which empties into this 5 gallon container. The holes in the cap and vent must be drilled out, but they are clearly indented and recessed for that purpose. Simple to do with a larger drill bit or reamer. I can let the container fill for days and then remove the hose and empty it. The container is very strong and heavy duty - I love it! If using for this or a like purpose, don't forget to remove the vent cap and drill a small hole in the center of the vent. I used a 1/8" drill bit. That's what i use this container for, but I'm sure there are many other uses which one can come up with.

I ordered 20 of these 5 gallon containers. I packed them all with maple syrup and found that over half of their lids leaked. It wasn't possible to tighten them enough by hand to eliminate leaks, so I attempted with a channel lock. That worked for a few of them, but not the rest. The containers work very well, but the lids are absolutely hit or miss. It might be the thickness of the actual opening so that the lid doesn't seat well...I am unsure. Was very surprised that 14 of the 20 leaked.

I like being able to see exactly how much fuel I have left.

I have 4 of these that I use to get our water from a spring. They’ve held up really well and are easy to use and transport. I have a few different jug types and these are definitely my favorite.

This is the way to go. No more Diet Coke bottles of oil to the parts store this holds plenty so less trips when doing 3-5 cars every few months.
