It's a solid product as you would expect from Coleman and it's price tab, however the 4-day claim must be seriously questioned. We had an over-night camp, where the daytime temp may have barely got over 30 and having pre-chilled the cooler with a sacrificial bag of ice before a mid-morning departure, it was a big surprise to find some 8-9 hrs later that most of the ice was already melted on the first-time opening of the cooler, when it hadn't been exposed to any direct sun and it was kept in the shade - i would therefore question how it would have kept anything cool for 4 days.

Really impressed with this cooler. It feels very solid and well made, with plenty of room inside without being ridiculously bulky. We wanted something that would work well for family days out, picnics and camping, with enough capacity for drinks and food for everyone. This has been ideal. Once properly chilled and packed with ice or ice packs, it holds the cold extremely well. The handles feel sturdy even when there’s a fair bit of weight inside, and the lid is reassuringly strong. I also like the simple design – there aren’t loads of unnecessary parts or compartments taking away from the usable space. It isn't a small cooler, so check the dimensions if space is tight, but that's exactly what we wanted. Very pleased with it and it feels like something that should last us for years. Would definitely recommend.

Great product for the price and can hold a lot

Bought as a gift and recipient was very pleased. Kept drinks very cold and ice stayed well even on a very hot day. The size is great (52QT) not too big but not small. Can be used for sitting on too. Drainage hole is a great idea and has large carry handles. This cool box is very well constructed. Better than the larger ones with hinges on that don’t seem such a good design. Definitely recommend the 52QT.
