Does it come with a mounting bracket?

You only need a mounting bracket if you're installing this in a desktop PC. If you're installing it in a laptop, you either don't need a bracket or should re-use the manufacturer's bracket holds the laptop's existing hard drive.

Which mounting screws do i need? I bought the wrong ones and it didn't come with any (why doesn't it come with any?)

I ended up mounting mine to an empty hard drive slot (brackets) using duct tape. What ever could go wrong with that approach? 🤷🏾♀️ I even tried screws from an old laptop and never could figure out the right thread to apply to this hard drive. An instructional video I was watching said “oh look my hard drive came with screws” and all I could think was “whomp whomp, not mine… 😑”
