Great little light. Easy to put on and I get about 8-10 hours in the welding booth out of it before it needs a charge. I turn it on and off in that time when I’m not actively laying beads. It helps a lot with start up on overhead welds or if you’ve got shadows to deal with so you can see what’s going on. I will say once you strike an arc, the light is pretty useless because the arc light drowns it out, so don’t count on it to keep you in a straight line. But for everything else it’s great and I definitely recognize if I forgot to turn it on.

Light is bright enough to see edges of metal when welding, but not too bright that it affects the dimming function of welding helmet.

It’s a nice little Hood light that gets the job done. I have a job that requires me to tac and weld little welds all over the dark crevices of a jig, that means a lot of flipping up the hood if you can’t see in those dark areas, but this light makes it to where I don’t have to lift my hood up anymore, it lasts the whole 10 hour shifts as long as I charge it overnight. I like the quick disconnect for the light so you can charge it unfortunately I broke my little plastic tab and I have to tape it but still works. I’m not a fan of how it turns off by holding the button, tapping it just switches mode, which I can see how in other jobs it would be useful. Overall good product especially for the money

The bottom of the light mount is slightly curved and is supposed to adhere to the helmet with supplied double sided adhesive. My welding helmet is flat. I scratched the area where I wanted to place the light and stuck it to the helmet. Living in Phoenix the temps are routinely in triple digits (also in my closed up shop) and the light fell off in two days of the heat. I solved the problem by drilling two small holes and using small machine screws and nuts secured it to the helmet, (see photos)The light is very bright and I have used it many times welding and I love it! The charge on the battery lasts a long time.

My eyesight is not what it used to be and this light works perfect. I love that it unclips so I can keep it charged on my workbench and then clip it back on when I want to use it. It’s also adjustable left to right if you mount the stand at the right angle. I’m buying a second one to put on the other side of my helmet. Definitely worth the money.

I’m very happy with this light, it’s perfect for welding helmets and for welding, I’m being using it for almost a year now I highly recommend it
