Does that mean 16" on center or is it 12" and if so why is it 12" on center?

Hi DFresh, Great question! The fixed tab is already at 16 on center. But we have found that sometimes people build 24” on center and since the Framing Wizard isn’t long enough (because we designed it to fit in your tool box), we do 12” on center which lets you easily double your measurements to be able to do 24” on center. Does it have a slot to lock in to 90 deg?

Hi Mike, Great question! Yes, you can absolutely lock the tab at 90 degrees. And if for some reason it were to move out of square (dropped or adjusted to a different angle), it's really easy to slide it back into place to lock it at 90 degrees as needed. Hope that helps! The Swanson Team
