Perfect solution for using an mSATA drive in an old laptop
I bought this adapter to breathe new life into an older laptop that has a standard 2.5" SATA hard drive bay. I had a spare mSATA SSD laying around, and this converter card let me put it to good use. The adapter worked exactly as expected. It fit perfectly in place of a regular 2.5" SATA drive and the SATA connector matched without any issues. Once installed, my laptop recognized the mSATA SSD immediately. There was no driver hassle or BIOS tweaking needed; it just worked. Now my old laptop boots much faster and feels snappy again. If you have an mSATA SSD and want to use it in a device that only takes standard 2.5" drives, this adapter is a simple, reliable, and very affordable solution. Highly recommended.

Worked Great
these adapter worked great i used them with my hard drive cloner and they are small enough to carry with me in by backpack incase i need to use em on the go.

Do Not Buy! Worthless!
Do not buy! Both boards non-functional. They're just blank PCB with 2, yes 2 tiny capacitors which actually took time to locate. Other adapters have way more electronics on them and at least a voltage regulator and bigger capacitors. These may damage your SSD and motherboard. Drives were not detected by BIOS or OS.

Works great!
Works great for more than 2 years in 15 inch Legion 5 2020, where I was able to fit BOTH mSATA (with a Lenovo SATA cable from 17 inch) and NVMe drive!
