I bought this based on other reviews. I wanted a good quality stone to sharpen some tools and an axe. It's so easy to use, the tools and axe are now a lot sharper. It comes with a nice leather belt pouch to keep the stone in which looks great too. The stone is comfortable in the hand, the size of the stone fits well into my hand which makes using it easy. Very versatile and the performance is great. Great value for money.

Excellent sharpening stone, I think mainly due to it's shape, you can hold it in your hand and move it however fast or slow as you want. I used it for an axe and it's kept it's edge well. If I was working outside I would keep it on my belt, if the edge of the blade became blunt.

Looks good quality. Watched a guy on YouTube use it for his axe to see how to use it. Bought for my child to sharpen his wood whittling tools as the skinny one was difficult to use. Haven’t tried it on those yet but whilst using a Stanley knife discovered the blade wasn’t sharp enough for the job. The white side of this puck done a great job at getting it sharp enough. Nice and small but handy and like the leather look pouch that it comes in which hopefully means it’s I’m easy to spot in the shed

Like the other reviews say, it turns to mush quite quickly but it does the job on my pocket knife and a few other blades around the house. I wouldn’t get another one but it still works.

This sharpening stone must soak in water for fifteen minutes. The sharpening stone is easy to use on lawn mower blades, hedge trimmers, and shovels, due to its size. A coarse side for very dull blades, and a finer grit for a well-sharpened edge. Easy to carry, fine leather pouch is included; this outfit does a remarkable job of sharpening quickly, too!
