Can I put this headset on the table for large meetings?

that is not what it is designed for and in my use it did not pick up surrounding sounds much when worn, I do not think it would be very effective for that use, but I did not try to use it that way. That being said it worked great for its designed purpose

Notice the receiver unit is plugged into power supply and is fully charged. The on switch is turned on but there is no indicator light showing it is active. It appears the receiver unit is faulty. Can you send me this replacement part?
