will this work with vertical vents?

No, this one is for flat surfaces. For vents you need the one that has the rubber cone.

How do you remove the mount?

You can use dental floss to gently remove from one side the gel until you unstick the complete Surf Mount.

Does this work for the enamel and spinning pop sockets?

As long as the pop socket face (the design part) is flat it should fit. The one that are thicker then normal, like with lipgloss for example, would not fit in the holder.

Great product. Strong, durable, sleek, adheres well to my vehicles surface. I love how well these pop socket holders work! It fits most normal sized pop sockets well.
