can this be used on a Mantelmount?

The mantelmount has adapter brackets that can be ordered to fit a variety of sound bars. You would need a way to fix this mounting mounting bar to the brackets (heavy duty bolt/nut) then this bracket could hold the arc

Does the bracket have the magnet like the official sonos mount (which triggers the speaker to output a different sound ie, ‘wall mount sound profile’?

The official Sonos mount does not have magnets built into it. It is a "solid" piece of ferrous metal. The Sonos Arc is what contains the magnets. This ynVISION wall mount is made of ferrous metal, and in this sense will function just as well as the official Sonos mount. The only real difference between the two mounts (Sonos and ynVISION) is that the ynVISION comes in pieces that must be assembled prior to mounting and it does not come with the cute little cardboard cut out that shows you the mounting bracket location in relation to the speaker (super handy little piece of cardboard when you just want to eye-ball mounting position without a tape measure). Also, try as I might, I was not able to get the ynVISION to maintain a level line after assembly. As much as that's bad news for any installer looking for laser line precision leveling, the good news is that the screws provided to hold the Arc on the ynVISION mount go in deep enough to create a tight fit onto the mount and post leveling without sag did save the day for me.
