Ordered this to replace a damaged regulator. The unit arrived on-time and in good condition. It fit the lid of the cooker as it should. We have used it several times and it works as expected. One good thing about Presto branded kitchen tools is the availability of spare parts like this one. Good luck finding replacement regulators, gaskets and over-pressure plugs on off-brand pressure cookers.

I like the replacement parts from presto products. I just wish there were more of the products ( newer products ) would be shipped to Hawaii. I purchased 2 slow cookers from amazon and now these are not be able to ship to Hawaii. I hope Amazon can give a reason why. This Presto product are the Best. Please ship their products here to Hawaii.

Exact fit replacement! Restores performance of my pressure cooker. The weight part (encased in plastic as shown), is made of magnesium or aluminum and corrodes with use over time. The new one is made the exact same way, unfortunately. That's my only real complaint, but I got 10+ years out of the old one.
