Best ladder i ever owned - wider base in span and width than any two foot step ladder out there ! Incredibly stable puts the traditional 300 lb step ladders to shame ! Im 300 lbs and i use it to install garage doors lifting 100+lb panels into the top section position - legs always stay locked and i never even hesitate to go up it blind - had it several months now and use it all day every day - hope they never stop making it - if they made a 3 ft one i would be in heaven i could install 8 ft tall doors with it and get rid of my other ladder taller completely and save alot of room in my truck

As a handyman, I often have to work on things near the ceiling or otherwise just a little higher than I can reach, so a two-foot ladder is just right. The top steps of this beauty make a wide and sturdy platform for your feet, but frequently two feet is too high, so I find that having steps on both sides of this ladder makes using the first step stabler and safer than with ordinary one-sided step ladders. I can stand straddling the ladder with one foot firmly on each of the first steps; much steadier than with two feet together on one rung with only a portion of each shoe in contact with the rung. It also allows me to stand closer to the work because by straddling the ladder I can have my toes a within a couple of inches instead of on the other side of the ladder legs as with one-sided ladders. It comes in an all-aluminum version, I believe, but since I frequently do electrical work, the non-conductive fiberglass legs are a valuable feature.

I purchased a pair of these for one of my company's work trucks so that the crew could more easily load items on ladder racks, etc. The other truck crews saw how sturdy and compact these little ladders are and they asked to have them on their trucks as well. If these ladders make my people happy and more productive, then they make me happy as well.

This ladder is very heavy duty. If you want something that will hold up and take some abuse, this is the one. Over I am pleased. One downfall is that it is a little on the heavy side.
