The Educator Remote Training Collar is made specially to help you make your bad dog good and your good dog better! The Educator ET-802 1-mile 2-dog training collar system is loaded with features, making it the most humane and effective trainer available. The receiver emits a tapping sensation, similar to intense vibration, and includes a Pavlovian tone delivering clean, effective stimulation. The user-selectable levels range from 1 to 100 with "lock and set" technology to prevent overstimulation. A boost feature with a range of 1 to 60 gets your dog’s attention when extra stimulation is needed. The transmitter remote "stopwatch" design is ergonomic, controls a tracking light with either flash or continuous on the receiver for use after dark. A beeper can be turned on to help locate a lost transmitter. System is for dogs 20 pounds and larger, includes waterproof floating transmitter remote with lanyard and belt clip, two waterproof medium/large receivers (2.7" x 1.7" x 1.2", 4 oz), two 1" x 30" waterproof, odorproof Biothane collars, rechargeable lithium polymer batteries charge in just 2 hours, battery charger, test light, four sets of contact points (2X 5/8" and 2X 3/4"), contact point installation tool, and hard storage case. We strive to make you successful with your training collar and your complete satisfaction is our only concern. We offer a two-year warranty against defects. Please refer to included owner’s manual for training tips or call toll-free for expert help with set-up, training, troubleshooting and registering your Educator product. Live US phone support is available Monday through Friday between 8 am and 7 pm Eastern. Review: Love it. - I don't ever write reviews for anything, but this e-collar deserves it. And I'm also doing this for bird dog owners as a guy who has used many other types of collars like Garmin, SportDog, DT Systems, etc. This is probably the most efficient and easy to use collar I've messed with, and other products can't touch the sensitivity that comes with it. I always test the stim on myself just to feel what the dog will feel, and it's true, the stim is softer and not harsh like other collars. Being able to adjust the "bump" is huge, because (specifically if you're a bird dog owner) we all know chasing and other intense distractions take a special level of jump as opposed to basic training. And if your dog is chasing, or you need to adjust the level on the go, you can raise the level of stim while holding down the continuous. So having that ability is great. Tone: Personally, I love that the collar goes to continuous after 1.2 seconds, basically removing a step of having to switch to another button so reenforcing different commands depending on the number of tones is much easier. Overall, this collar is awesome, ergonomically, functionally, everything. I'll probably sell my garmin rig and use this for my pointer. (purchased for a boykin spaniel) Review: I had them doing pretty well after over 6 months of on the trail ... - I have already used this system on off-leash hikes over 20 times since I got it earlier this month. I have two large shepherds just over a year old. I hike mountain trails with them off-leash. I had them doing pretty well after over 6 months of on the trail and standard training from the age of 3 months. They did well until they learned to spot the deer, that is! When they did they bolted and were long gone, one time for more than 15 minutes. This was a very dangerous situation as we hike in bear and lion territory with some very steep terrain. I needed a solution. I did some research and decided on the Educator two dog system. It is well-made tool that combines the option to vibrate only, mildly shock the dog (let's be honest, that's what it does, although this isn't as bad as it sounds to some people) and to boost the shock. The shocks are user adjustable from barely perceptible to a fairly strong jolt. I tried it on myself first on my bare arms and legs. On the lowest setting of 1 I couldn't even detect it. At 10 it was a very mild shock. On the highest of 100 it was a decent jolt, although nowhere near traumatic. My 11 year old Godson tried it at 100 and it sure got his attention, but he laughed. My dogs responded well in back yard training with the setting at 8. I set the boost to add 35 (for a total of 43) when on the trail if a deer was spotted. After back yard training we went to the trails, and the first time the dogs spotted a deer on the trail they bolted, I yelled "Here" (a long rising pitch "Here" works better than "Come" for me) with a jolt at 8 and there was no response, I yelled "Here" with a boosted jolt and they both turned right around and came back to me. I consider this tool a potential life saver. Knowing I can hike with my dogs off-leash yet still control them is extremely important. This tool is expensive, but the quality justifies the price. The plastic is very tough, tactilely pleasing and cleanly made. The control buttons and knobs are tight and strong. The water-seals are quality too (I leave the system on when they go in water). I ## Features - The Boss ET-802 two dog system with 1 mile range, medium/large receiver for dogs 20 pounds and larger with neck size 12 to 23 inches - Includes 2 Biothane dog collars (1" wide x 30" long), 2 RX-120 large receivers (2.7" long x 1.7" wide x 1.2" high, 4 oz.) and 1 ergonomic "stopwatch" transmitter (2.75" diameter x 1.2" thick x 4.6" high) well-suited for small hands or in situations where discretion is important - Delivers a tapping sensation similar to vibration, but more intense, making it an effective addition to the stimulation - A Pavlovian tone feature provides an effective addition to the stimulation - User-selected stimulation levels range from 1 to 100 with additional boost stimulus selectable from 1 to 60 - Includes 4 sets of contact points (2X 5/8" short hair and 2X 3/4" long hair).
