The floss arrived well packaged. I bought multiple colors and they were all beautiful. Lovely gradients. Don’t worry about the reviews that talk about tangling. Do yourself a favor and find videos that explain how to organize Chinese silk thread—you can’t treat it the same way you would treat cotton floss. As long as you use it correctly you shouldn’t have to worry about tangling. None of the skeins I bought have gotten knotted or tangled. They are a little smaller than they look in the pictures, but I was satisfied with the amount I’d had a closer look. Very nice, can’t wait to start using the thread.

Hermosos colores, pero PÉSIMO empaque, vienen de a 4 colores juntos, en una sola bolsa y se enredan al sacarlos. Recomiendo que los envíen por separado

The floss is beautiful, but it was totally unmanageable for me. I guess I didn’t know how to open it to start with and it just became a big knotted unusable mess - so it was a waste of my money.

The feel of these threads is amazing and the gradient is very nice. I agree with other posts that silk is not the same as cotton thread, so do your research! The threads came in three packets of four skeins, and the static was amazing. I will get some lotion to soften my skin before setting these into spools. Great item !

I purchased this thread because I thought the colors were beautiful, and they are beautiful. On opening the package I found that the thread was not separated like it shows in the picture and while trying to separate it, it became tangled and it took me forever to untangle it because this thread is simply to fine to work with. If you have dry hands, your hands are going to snag on the thread and it’s going to tangle and unravel and make a mess. I found this thread incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to work with. It’s a shame because the colors are very beautiful.

The color is beautiful but the fibers do not feel like silk they catch on all rough bits of skin. I used as a tassel for a mala and disliked the feel of it so much I threw it away and bought something else.

I read what one reviewer said about using lotion on the hands before handling the threads and it DOES make a difference. With the lotion, I didn't have any problems with tangles or snags, but without...it started immediately. The thread is luscious!

Great product for small to medium hand embroidery projects. If you are new to silk embroidery(I was) be sure to read about using silk vs cotton. Careful unwrap the threads and wind them on a spool or card immediately.Work this thread with a bit of conditioner to make it easier.
