I’m still relatively new, but I have played extensively with a Turkish, top whorl and bottom whorl. The problem was, they were all slightly unbalanced. I never noticed until I got this spindle and fired her up. Hang on to your fiber, she’s a beast! Spins so smoothly it reminds me of a top. This spindle can spin so fast that I was able to make yarn more efficiently and quickly. Plus, she’s just gorgeous to look at. It’s my heaviest spindle by far but I have still been able to spin yarn in between fingering and worsted weight without problems.
