Anyhow... Dan Slott is weaving his magic, the story of SpOck keeps building, while the blocks are being put together, we start to see the tiniest of chinks in Spidey's armor, and the excitement continues. Giuseppe Camuncoli and Humberto Ramos and the rest of the art team are really lighting it up on the art front. Superior Spider-Man is some of the best Spidey I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Review: A Spider-Man with Henchmen May Actually Be Superior - I love this title so much! It is not only full of action-packed, Spidey adventures, it is laugh out loud funny. I am a huge Peter Parker fan, but Doc Ock is so, so good in this role. The opening story with the Spider Slayer showed again that Otto may actually be a superior Spider-Man to Peter. I am in no way endorsing capital punishment carried out by superheroes, but Doc Ock seems to be very good at getting the job done for the greater good. Because he was a former supervillain, he is continually one step ahead of the villains that he encounters. Taking over the raft, and turning it into his new headquarters (Spider Island 2) was a genius move, and hiring Spiderlings as his "henchmen" was so hilariously enjoyable for me to read. His robots, the Aracnaughts, help make the Superior Spider-Man a legitimate military force. I could go on and an on about how much I like the new Spider-Man. For example, his new costume is super cool, and the advanced technology that he uses to fight crime truly makes him superior to the Amazing Spider-Man. If Peter Parker ever finds a way to make a return as the Amazing Spider-Man, I honestly want Doc Ock to continue as the Superior Spider-Man. In a lot of ways, I want Peter to stay dead, because this title is just too good. Thank you, Dan Slott. Other quick notes: -Taking down the Kingpin had to be done. Otto did the right thing, although it is possible this will escalate the violence. -I like this version of Hobgoblin, but seeing him take over as the Goblin Knight may be fun too. I'm optimistic about this. -I'm not convinced that the Goblin King is Norman Osbourne, but I could be wrong. Either way, we are heading towards a huge war against the goblins. -The Lizard is a good guy now? This can't be forever. -There is a nerd character that is really mad and powerful. I don't know who he is, but he seems important. -Carlie seems to have things figured out about "Peter" not being himself, but I don't want her to solve the mystery. She is being aided in her investigation by Wraith. Again, I have no idea who this character is, or her importance. -Norah got fired. What will they do with the character now?

Can't Wait for Volume 4!
Otto Octavius IS the Superior Spider-Man! This volume sees Otto as Peter Parker/Spider-Man really upping the ante and moving New York towards a benevolent spider-themed dictatorship. It just keeps getting better and better. Otto approaches the superhero role like a super villain and the results are both hilarious and fun. Otto has improved crime fighting far past what Peter could have ever imagined but it's making him some powerful enemies. I can't wait to see how the Otto and the series progresses. Bring on volume 4!

a villain doing a heroes job
This book is great. More and more of the villain DOC OC used to be is bleeding through. From his loyal troops (who suspicously look like Hydra troops lol) to his disregard for moral institutions.

How far is too far?
Spider-Man has always set himself boundaries, for better or worse. But this new Spider-Man doesn't have them. Heck, he barely knows what they are. Which ones will he chose and which ones will he ignore?

Continues to amaze me!
I've loved Superior Spider-Man since the first issue, and this series continues to make me enjoy it even more. Many problems arise for ol' Otto and its fun to see how he deals with them in a superior way. Story is amazing. Art is great.

Does not disappoint
Great continuation from the last volume. I loved every page. Each character is written in such a way they feel real.

I use to read the amazing spiderman...got tired of reading the same old story over and over again for years and years. THIS SUPERIOR SPIDERMAN got me back into reading comics. I agree with the others, this is a big change and one of the best series ever created. Dock-ock as Spiderman...what a change. Spiderman is reborn....but not as the Peter Parker that we know.
