Has anyone used this on plastic or acrylic?** A: Yes my husband used it as a primer for his warhammer 40k plastic pieces. On acrylic I am not sure. I know he removed the previous acrylic work and some acrylic still remained but the primer went nicely over it, but if it is a lot of acrylic then I am not sure how great of coverage will be achieved. **Q: is this a self etching primer?** A: I used this on the front of my horse trailer. It had been pitted by use on gravel roads and this worked wonders. I sprayed it last fall and it still looks great this spring. **Q: Is the "red" really red? The cap in the pic looks brown.** A: yeah, it's more like brown... same color of the cap of the spray can. **Q: Ive never used primer. Is it imperative that it not touch the paint/clearcoat of say, a car, around it?** A: It's basically paint so treat it accordingly. This primer has a VERY rough, almost gritty, finish.
