LEKEYE Drain Defender

The cover for my shower drain has a grid with VERY large holes. My hair falls out big time and all of it went right through the large holes. The water wasn't draining properly so I removed the cover. I was able to reach down and grab the tip of a large hair clog. I pulled it out and the hair clog was two feet long. I was surprised the shower drained at all!!! I put this hair catcher over the existing cover and it did a fantastic job catching all of my hair. The silicone ring doesn't hold it really firmly in place, but holds it enough so water won't move it at all. It doesn't move at all when I take a shower. Depending on your shower floor and drain, this cover may work well for you. My shower drain is fairly large, but this cover completely covers it. I measured before buying.

It does exactly as promised. It traps the hair on top of it. It is super easy to clean. Hair comes off with a swipe of a paper towel. I would highly recommend this product.

These just fit over the shower floor drain. Now I wish I had bought something larger. It's slightly convex on one side & concave on the other. I put it down with concave on bottom & when I stepped on it popped the other way. It stays down pretty well as it is pretty heavy & catches hair & lint pretty well too. The oval holes are cut I think what you would call angular. The water drains through quite well so I was not standing in a pool of water. I do some hand washing in a plastic tub on the shower floor too & I sometimes get quite a bit of lint collected. I recently read how lint is even worse than hair for your pipes & especially from the synthetics because they never decompose like the natural fibers eventually do (but how long?). So in my case I think my lint is worse than the hair. I also have 4 cats 2 which are long-haired. I also have a portable washer that I use in the bathroom too. I bought the 2 pack grey & will use the other one in a sink I think Better deal if you buy the 2 pack. Easy to clean. Silicone edge seems secure.

I had purchased my first one of these MANY years ago and it lasted a LONG time. Only reason I ordered a new one, my COD didn't like how the rubber silicone had pink tint. (from years of use) It was still doing the job though. I ordered a new one and am just as happy with it. It is an easy install, just lay over the top of your current drain. Value is good. Stays in place and most of all it catches my hair! Highly recommend.

BUY IT. If this fits with your shower, buy it. I've been fighting the gross plunger-type silicon hair-catchers for so long, and I'm thrilled to have found one that doesn't get residue on it, does the job well, and can be cleaned in 3 seconds. It stays in place well.

The first time I stepped on this it inverted instead of being a dome shape. It’s now a cup shape. But I’m still using it and it still helps as a second line of defense on my shower drain so I guess the trade-off is there’s no installation, it’s easy to clean and it still looks the same as the day I bought it other than the above mentioned.

Catches hair, drains well, looks great. Not that sturdy. The only improvement needed, if you step on it the raised top in the middle - will collapse.

This works great! It's rubber perimeter fixes perfectly over the drain and it catches all the hair. I'm so pleased!
