Good to go
Perfect fit on my ‘08 Raider. Combined with Dan Moto’s 2-1 and Ivan’s flash, it RUNS. Pretty easy install with just lifting the tank up and moving it to the side.

cheaper in the long run more expensive up front
The reason for buying a K+N filter is so that it is the last filter you will buy for the life of the vehicle. You have to clean them periodically K&N makes a cleaning kit just for that. The filter is then reinstalled . Oh the vehicle will breathe better and may also make a little more power.

K&N filter
I have used the K&N air filter on my truck for years and recently installed this one on my Yamaha Stratoliner. The filter is located underneath the tank and has to be removed to install. I expect this to last much longer than the stock replacement before I have to clean it again and the increase in air flow helps too.

The filter is exactly as described, and wasn't at the difficult part. The difficulty came from removing everything just to place the filter.
