How easy is it to replace the battery?

I’ll shoot straight with you. Not hard. However, finding a battery is the problem. Segway/Ninebot seems to have zero interest supporting their scooters after purchase. I can’t get a hold of a spare rear rim or spare hub motor. AliExpress will not send you correct items. Stay away. Segway Ninebot is moving on to super-scooters, so I doubt they will try very hard to keep parts available. Keep in mind they crowdsourced financing for the F-series R/D. So it was half-hearted from the start. They absolutely intend you to buy another one if something major breaks that could otherwise be replaced. There will most likely not be any aftermarket support for the F-series. But the scooter is wonderful, I’m 1000 miles in and it takes anything I give it. But the post-purchase support is terrible. Aftermarket tires and inner tubes are widely available. So don’t worry about those. They fit fine and wear great. I’m disappointed with the company. But happy with the product.

Does the F40 have cruise control ?

Yes, the other answer is correct in their description but missing one minor detail. Cruise control can only be turned on/off in the mobile app.

How does this F40 model compare with E45?

F40 doesn't have the ambient light, doesn't have suspension like E45.
