I bought this 2-pack of AloftSun Solar Motion Sensor Lights specifically to install at the entrance of my driveway — and they turned out to be exactly what I needed. Installation was super simple — just stake them into the ground, no wiring or tools required. I positioned them on both sides of the driveway entrance, and they immediately made a huge difference. The lights are very bright, with a cool white glow that really helps illuminate the area when I come home at night. The motion sensor is fast and responsive, and I love the 3 lighting modes. I use the dim + motion mode, which keeps a soft glow all night and brightens up when someone approaches — it’s both practical and adds a nice security touch. Even on cloudy days, the solar charging has been reliable, and the lights stay on all night. This is the second set I’ve bought. They work great in all kinds of weather: rain, snow, high winds, you name it. Mine were covered with snow for days. When the snow melted, they still worked like new. Very impressive. They are simple to install and there are several “usage” modes. Lights become brighter when motion is detected. The only drawback is the angle adjustment screws come loose and fall out, but I went to Home Depot and purchased replacement screws and wing nuts. Problem solved. I will buy these again.

Wanted something nice looking but inexpensive to light up my front porch at night. These were perfect for the job, easy to stick in the ground and they pop on for a reasonable bit of time whenever I get an after-dark delivery.

These lights are great quality and bright! They look nice in your landscaping and easy to use. I have had the same lights for years and just keep buying more of them…they will last you.

I ordered 4 sets 3 lights didn’t work,I tried to reach out to the seller ironically they couldn’t find my order number 🙄 the other 20 lights work fine and bright.

Update: They sent two new ones when complained on stem, new ones stem not a problem so must have been sent old model? Impressed, recommend as primary unit (the light and solar) very reliable and very bright, and very good value. OLD ONE: Other reviews had same problem, cheaply made, screws do not work. I did not use super glue one did (good idea!) but used duck tape. Screws to hold at an angle just are low quality. But..... the lights are very bright, the 3 options work, charges well, and so if you put in ground the way you want (with ducked up taping),, does it matter? Would I pay double to have a better base unit? No, so while the motion detector and brightness is outstanding, one would have to argue these are a good buy because the primary intended use works well. I use for motion detector to scare deer away from eating pine tree, doubt the deer offended by some duck tape. I move the solar panel by slanting angle in ground, not by screw as designed.

These light are crap half the time they work for awhile then shut off and the motion detector doesn't seem to work at all and I have them on the right setting one of three but the settings seem to adjust in their own. Not as advertised and I get tired sending stuff back all the time.

These lights are fantastic, charge well and are very bright. But the plastic they have chosen for the plastic ground spikes is all wrong. The plastic is so brittle that two spikes were even shattered inside the box on opening it up. Another 3 craked putting them the first time into relatively soft April UK soil. Then I needed to reposition two of the lights and when pulling and twisting the spikes to get thm out of the ground, they both cracked and shattered. So in summary, love the lights, hate the spikes.

Great outdoor lights that actually last.
