Perfect fit for my UV-5G PRO . I had this off the charger scanning for 36 hours and it only drop 1 bar . I really like this .

Was hoping to use this in my TP5, but there is no means for the battery to lock in. Update: I have since procured a UV-5G Pro, and the battery fits perfectly in it. Updated review to 5 stars.

The radio lasts a long time on receive with a full charge on this battery.

Purchased for a UV-5X3. I took a shot and it didn’t fit. BUT that’s not the end of it. Customer service came to the rescue and sent a replacement battery. I’d love to say the second battery fit, children sang songs and white doves were released. It didn’t. What did happen however was I decided to take a small thin file (toe/finger nail clipper file thickness) and lightly took off material on the catch/lip of the battery. Fractions of a millimeter - not inches did the trick. Keep the file perpendicular along the entire catch and lightly go back and forth a few times. Check for fit and repeat if necessary (third time was the charm for me). Even knowing work was performed there, I can’t tell material was removed (that’s how little needs to come off). BTech’s excellent customer service saved a customer and most importantly, I now have a high capacity battery that works with my radio.

Must to clarify this is NOT the usb c version. Normally I would have preferred the usbc version but I am using this with one of the byonics fox’s which it works perfect for. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This battery fits my Baofeng UV-5R+PLUS radio perfectly! Now I am enjoying multiple hours more air time than with the original, smaller battery!

Works well when traveling

Excellent battery for the price, can't be beat! These Baofeng radio's and accessories are rare among Electronics from China, they AREN'T Unreliable JUNK that will barely last a year! Contrary to the confusing product description, this battery PERFECTLY FITS the New 2020-21 Baofeng BF-F8HP, as well as it's predecessor, the UV-5R. Locking is tight, just as the lower mAH one that comes with the radio's. I think I'll order another for emergencies.

Menos mal que la compré, porque el cargador original lo perdí y la batería esta se carga por usb, que me vino genial en el apagón ya que era la única radio que tenía.
