I had multiple areas where either my wood floors or my walnut coloured melamine work surfaces were severely scratched from years of use - so much so that I was considering replacing some of them. These pens though covered up the scratched areas totally. Sure, if you look closely in some areas you can notice a very slight colour difference but, before, the scratches stood out from a long way away. The pend and waxes are also great value for money and long lasting.

This furniture repair kit is very useful for covering small scratches and marks on wood surfaces. The variety of pens and wax sticks makes it easier to match different wood tones, and they work well for minor repairs. Application is simple and results look good for quick touch-ups. While it won’t replace a full repair for deeper damage, it’s ideal for cosmetic fixes. Overall, a practical kit that’s good to have on hand for everyday furniture repairs.

Very disappointed as the colours are all too dark and do not match the colour on the lid.

I bought one of these kits a few years ago and have repaired so many things including furniture , flooring and I’ve just repaired my dads Lino flooring after it was damaged with moving furniture and it’s like new. I’ve just ordered my dad the same set as he was amazed at how quick and easy it was to blend the colours in.

I bought some of these pens about 10yrs back and they work a a treat for floor & furniture scratches. When I first used them I didn't really know what I was doing and would just pen them onto the scratches but then you risk an overlap of pen around scratches that can make them stand out more, It helps to have a wet baby wipe wrapped covering your index finger, Use the pen on the scratch you're covering and quickly wipe and access ink off that's around the scratch and you'll notice a big difference in the finish. It also helps to go for a slightly lighter colour than the one stipulated for your wood colour as some of the pens come out darker than the colour they state, Do this on one scratch and give it half an hour drying time and once it dries you'll be able to determine if the furniture/wood need a darker colour or the lighter colour did the trick.

Colours don't seem to match the labelling, but doing it by eye the crayons made a great job disguising a nasty scratch.

The wax crayons are not the colours specified on the packaging. There are no light wood colours so will not work on maple/oak even though two of the colours are advertised as being those colours.
