Outstanding Mechanical Pencil Leads
These are an excellent choice for someone wishing to have a generally smooth lead but that is a bit more resistant to breakage than some of the software leads are. Uni (Mitsubishi) makes these leads with some type of diamond-infused powder which they claims gives it a better performance characteristic than traditional leads. I don't know much about that, but both these HB's and also the Uni 2H leads are among my very favorites because they are so smooth and silky in their writing performance. They are certainly among my favorite pencil leads, even when compared with some of the German brands I've used.

Good Lead, Just Give Me More For the Price.
I bought this lead for my new Pentel Graphgear 500 which only came with a couple not very high quality leads. The lead that came with the pencil was alright, but it wrote light, lacked smoothness, and it dug into the paper harshly. This lead fixes those problems. It is not the strongest lead but it is .3 so what can you expect? I would not suggest it for heavy writers. This lead seems to be a good option for anyone who wants to keep an HB hardness but also would like a smoother feel. The only drawback is that you only get 15 leads per pack. That just seems really low to me.

Great Lead at a Reasonable Price
Currently using these leads in my Platinum Pro Use mechanical pencil and absolutely love them. I have had no problems with lead breakage since using them, which can be a problem with some of the cheaper leads at this diameter. Quality lead, quality company, no complaints from me!

Best packaging in the world.
I'm not sure if I just like the way slick look of the angled blue case, or if the lead is actually superior, but so far it seems much better than the leads which came with my PG523 mechanical pencil. It seems strong and smooth, but not so smooth that writing with it feels sloppy. It is just rough enough to provide good feedback, and it doesn't tear or indent the paper too badly. The price is right as well - I'm sure you can find more expensive leads if that is your thing, but I'd imagine that is probably a diminishing return after a certain point.Mostly though, the case is cool looking, and I get satisfaction from putting new leads in my pencil. And if we're honest - satisfaction is really what we are after here.

Fillers
I love these, I would recommend to anyone that does any kind drawing and uses mechanical pencils.
User
good lead
What a nice product. Lead is strong for 0.3mm. The others I've used would snap too easily. Color is dark enough for most uses. I would buy these again but in a darker lead. It is really a good value because you get to use all the lead instead of wasting it due to it snapping with the slightest bit of pressure.

Sturdy
The HB leads that came with my Zebra DRAFIX 0.3 mm pencil were breaking way too easily (although I do love the pencil). I decided to take out the stock lead and try these instead - suffice to say, these leads don't break nearly as easily. There is some spread as one of the other reviewers mentioned, but probably to about the degree I would expect with an HB hardness. I just ordered the Uni-ball 2H lead to see how it fares compared to these.

and can I just say that this is the best! No going back to anything else
Ok, I'm a bit of a pencil nerd, and can I just say that this is the best! No going back to anything else. Definitely worth the extra bucks. I have used a variety of lead thicknesses and hardnesses of the lead and they all are very satisfying. For .3mm I do prefer the B hardness though; do even think about going harder than HB for .3mm, you'll slice through your paper.

Perfect!
Uni leads are the best as a lot of people say. The pack of 3 really is useful, and better than a possible single pack. There is certainly smoothness and shatter resistance. This in my opinion is more useful for writing, than the 2b as this wears down much less.

Bonnes mines

No issues, good container!
Overall, there were no issues using this lead with my Muji 0.3mm Balanced White Mechanical Pencil.• Great lead, nothing out of the ordinary• The container is well constructed, built with a stable sliding mechanism on the top that reveals the lead and keeps it sealed from potential damages

It writes.
It's pretty good. It writes fine and specific lines. Put it in my uni kuru toga 0.3 pencil and works just fine.
