Shreds not minced is preferred.
Hi cats really like Nulo. They’re not crazy about this minced meat and prefer the shredded duck and chicken. Nulo is a good food and I’m happy to feed it to my cats. I’m happy I enjoy the shredded meat. I’ve been buying it for years.. I won’t be buying the minced again though.

My cats loved it !
I had to switch my Cat food. Tiki Cat had their recipe changed and my cats were constantly throwing up. I decided to try this brand and I no longer have this issue. They love this food!

My cats hate it.
I have 6 cats. None of them will eat this. I even try mixing it with another brand of food that they like. They won’t touch it. They love the fish flavored pouches. But this canned food, they smell it and walk away.

Carrageenan-free, grain-free, decent 'high-quality' cat food for the $$
Kitty loves it, I feed half a can with diluted water to my kitty with a little bit of dry food sprinkled on top. After kitty got blocked from eating primarily dry food (it was high quality but problem is lack of moisture content), I've been looking for high quality wet food alternatives. No throwing-up, and after a month, kitty's got a pretty shiny fur coat. I've also been looking up the history of this company and this is what I found: - The company is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and their foods are manufactured in Kansas and Nebraska. Both of these FDA-approved facilities are annually inspected by organizations including the American Institute of Baking and BRC Global Standard for Global Safety. - All ingredients are sourced from a network of suppliers who represent Nulo’s quality standards. Fish ingredients, for example, are sustainably-sourced and preserved without ethoxyquin. None of their ingredients, including vitamins and minerals, come from China. The foods are low-carb and low-glycemic, high in protein and low in carbohydrates: - At least 80% of the protein in every recipe comes from animal sources, meaning that they’re biologically appropriate and highly digestible for your carnivorous cat. - Nulo’s Zero Promise states that each formula contains zero corn, wheat gluten, soy, or any artificial preservatives, colors, and flavors. Nulo foods contain a patented BC30 probiotic: - It’s the world’s first probiotic strain capable of surviving high-heat processing. This ensures that the food retains its probiotic power after cooking and extrusion. Sounds pretty good for me. 4 stars because I've read bad reviews about quality back in 2011, so I'm still skeptical.

Best flavor is Chicken and Herring
My cats refuse to eat anything but super fishy recipes, Nulo finally dropped the Chicken and Herring which has chicken, turkey, chicken liver, AND chicken broth listed before the Herring so my cats are finally getting mostly poultry rather than fish and are loving it. PLEASE DONT DISCONTINUE THIS FLAVOR NULO!

The chicken and herring flavor made my cat sick
My cat loves the minced and shreds from this brand but when I bought the pate I noticed she started having diarrhea and my vet said it might be due to the change in food. Then I noticed that some of the cans had different production and expiration dates than the others, so I opened all of the ones saying they were produced on 01/08/2025 and they all looked really weird compared to another one with the production date 06/10/2025. After I opened the cans, I realized all of the weird ones were the chicken and herring recipe. I'm not sure if there was just some kind of problem when they were being canned or if the formula is weird, but I am very sure that they were making my cat sick. In the picture I showed, the too cans are the chicken and hereinf recipe that look weird and the bottom can is a normal looking one that is the turkey and chicken recipe. Now I can't return the product anymore, so there's $54 down the drain. I'm trying to reach out the company, to see if there has been any sort or recall or if I can at least get my money back. Please check to see if the food looks weird before feeding it to your cat, so your baby doesn't get sick too!
