Great loppers. I find them to be durable, and easily capable of cutting every branch I use them on. With the PowerGear2 mechanism, this has excellent cutting power. It slices through branches like they were made of butter. I was struggling to decide between the 25 inch and 32 inch sizes, but I’m glad I went with a 25 inch version. The size and weight are perfect for my needs. Anything too large for these loppers to cut, I just use the Fiskars 15” PowerTooth D-Handle saw. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Great tool! Cut thru thick, dead branches that have been driving me crazy. After you realize how wide you have to open the blades all will be good. Worth the $$.

I used the Fiskars Garden Bypass Lopper and Tree Trimmer to tidy up the branches of a tree that were brushing against the side of my townhouse. The sharp blade made quick work of the task, and its sturdy build gave me confidence as I worked. The leverage of the Iskars Garden Bypass Lopper and Tree Trimmer was evident when I effortlessly cut through thicker branches without feeling fatigued. Its long handles provided ample leverage, making each cut feel smooth and controlled. I do feel that the ergonomics of this tool are very evident as I felt no discomfort or strain in my hands or arms even when putting extra pressure to cut down thicker limbs. The comfortable grip allowed me to maintain a secure hold on the lopper, ensuring precise cuts without any slipping. Thanks to the bypass cutting action, each branch was cleanly severed without any crushing or splintering, This feature gives me confidence that the trimmed branches will normally regrow properly, but in this case they may not as my tree won’t regrow limbs unless there is still green left on the branch.

Need to cut through some big stuff? Are you hard on your tools? Then you might want to consider this Fiskar Lopper. It's sharp blade made short work of the vines and small tree growth I used it on. It's solidly made and it is heavy. Your arms will feel the work out if you are using them for any length of time. It's a real heavy duty tool and it comes with a lifetime warranty which gives me some comfort as it was not inexpensive, but reasonable considering the quality of the construction. The only thing I found as a negative is that you have to open the handles a lot to maximize the opening of the throat of the cutter. This is not easy when you are cutting anything above waist level and difficult when you are trying to cut something overhead. Again, it works great, but you need to be in shape to use this, particularly your arms and upper body. It does have a great reach at 32" and it looks like it could out live me...

this is an absolutely incredible instrument. It cut through a 1.5 inch branch as if it was a sharp as you’re cutting through a piece of paper. Perfect ergonomics, and great blade. I could not be happier. It’s just the right size for cutting those smaller branches off trees. Truly makes it feel effortless.

I did my research before buying this lopper, and it is exactly as described.
